Obituary of Mary M. Wilson RNA

Mary M. (McAllister) Wilson RNA, of Moncton, NB; passed away at Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital, on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the age of 86. Born in North Sydney, Cape Breton, she was the daughter of the late Tupper and Christina (Fraser) Morrisey. Mary had worked at the Amherst Hospital and the Moncton Annex before retiring from the Moncton Hospital. She was a member of St. Bernard's Parish and a member of the CWL. She was a former leader with the Scouts, Cubs, Brownies and Girl Guides. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, crocheting, needle point and sewing, as well as fly fishing for salmon, however her greatest love was that of her family and friends. Mary was winner of the 1963 Mother of the Year Contest. A title which still holds true today... She will be forever in the hearts of her three daughters Teri Farris (John) and Pasty Danberger (William) all of Judique, Cape Breton and Bonny Leger (Bernard) of Moncton; her four sons David McAllister of Moncton, James McAllister of Riverview, Tim McAllister of Moncton and John McAllister (Ken Lobsinger) of Toronto; her adoring grandchildren Jillian (Matthew Neville), Matthew Farris, Kelly Parker, Richard and Fawn Manns; two great-grandchildren Hannah Manns and Sofie Neville; one brother William Morrisey (Carol) of Saint John, NB; as well as her many nieces and nephews and her lifelong friend Annie DeAdder of Moncton, NB. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband E. Donald Wilson in 2010 and by her siblings Emily, Donnie, Ethel, Hudson, Elsie and Eleanor. Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview on Friday, July 4, 2014 from 6 to 9pm. The Funeral mass will be held at St. Bernard's Church, Botsford St. Moncton on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at 11:00am with Father Allison Carroll officiating. Interment will be in St. Andrews Parish Cemetery. Judique, Cape Breton. It would be appreciated that donations in Mary's memory made to the Dr. Georges L.
