Obituary of Odule Joseph "Jack" Surette

Odule J. "Jack" Surette, 86, of Riverview, NB; passed away at The Moncton Hospital, on Thursday, February 12, 2015. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late J.B. and Jean (Bastarache) Surette. Jack had worked for CGE in Toronto for 36 years, prior to moving back to the greater Moncton area. He loved playing guitar and played with the Bunk House Boys and the Angus Robichaud Band. He will be sadly missed by is wife Sally Richard of Riverview; his two daughters Debbie Surette and Diane Surette (Vito) all of Toronto; two brothers Roger (Stella) and Clarence (Ethel) all of Moncton; two sisters Freda Leger of Montreal and Simone Leger (Ron) of Magnetic Hill; six grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a son and a brother Val. A Memorial Service will be held at Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Memorial Chapel, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview, on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at 4:00 pm with Rev. Fr. Allison Carroll officiating. Interment will be in Alderwood Cemetery, Riverview, NB Donations in Jack's memory made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the United Way would be appreciated.
