Obituary of Audrey Pauline Parlee

PARLEE, Audrey Pauline- 96, of Moncton, NB, passed away on July 9, 2012 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Anagance NB, on July 24, 1915, she was the daughter of the late William Leggett and Daisy (Dunn) Saunders. Audrey lived in the Sussex area in her younger years moving then to Moncton where she spent the rest of her life. In the last few years she resided at the Autumn Lee Retirement Home in Moncton. She worked at numerous jobs –Eaton’s, Times and Transcript, Moncton Post Office, Eli Ruch’s Bottle Exchange, babysitter, housecleaner and as a caretaker for an apartment building. She loved music, friends, her family and had a good sense of humor. She was a member of First Baptist Church Moncton. She will lovingly be remembered by her family. Surviving is her only child, Deidra June Hudgins (Frank), Timberlea, NS; her grandchildren Aaron Kenneth Hudgins (Jen), Timberlea, NS, Sarah Elizabeth Hudgins, Regina, Sask., Joanna Grace Hudgins, Wolfville, NS; great grandchild Chloe Hudgins, Timberlea, NS; brother Lawson Leggett, Trenton, Ont. Audrey was predeceased by first husband Clarence Parlee and common law husband Kenneth Campbell; sisters Sadie Douthwright, Alma Keirstead, Alice Graves and Verna Perry. By personal request there will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. A Funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 2:00pm with Rev Frank Hudgins officiating. A reception to follow immediately after the service. Burial will take place at Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation, First Baptist Church or a charity of the donor’s choice.
