Obituary of Ruth Grace Johnston

Ruth Grace Johnston, 85, of formerly of Peoples Park Tower, Moncton, NB; passed away at the Moncton Hospital, on Thursday, September 7, 2017. Born in Chatham, NB she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Grace (Gregan) Williston. She was a member of St. Georges Anglican Church in Moncton. Ruth retired with 35 years service with Kenneth Spencer Memorial Home Food Services. A loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, she will sadly missed by her children Joan Lockhart (Steve) of Moncton, Carmel Johnston of Sussex Corner and Brian Johnston of Riverside Albert; her loving grandchildren Kaitlen Lockhart, Zachery O'Neil Johnston and Mia O'Neil Johnston; her sisters Anne Stock (William) of ON., Emily Beers (Elmer) of Moncton and brothers Theodore Williston (Jean) of Hardwick and Ray Williston (Jeanie) of Lower Coverdale; as well as nieces and nephews and by all who knew her. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Harold Johnston in 1992. Resting at Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview on Sunday, September 10, 2017, from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Service will be held at Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, on Monday, September 11, 2017 at 10:00 am with The Rev. Chris VanBuskirk officiating. Interment will be in St. John Anglican Church Cemetery, Bay de Vin, NB Donations in Ruth's memory made to the charity of donor's choice would be appreciated by her family.
