Obituary of Allison Walter Rankin Brown

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Allison Walter Rankin Brown at the Moncton Hospital on January 8, 2013 with family at his side. Born in Clairville, he was the son of the late Rankin and Lena (Beers) Brown. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 52 years Pat Fullerton, sons Ken (Chantal), and Dale (Lori), grandchildren Alex, Nathan, Nicholas, Harrison, Lauren and Griffin, his sister Althea (Alf Fillmore), his brothers Arnold (Betty), Mel (Peggy), Ralph (Mavis), Warren (Eleanor), Wally (Karen), Vaughan (Donna) and the late Hugh Brown (Harriet), several nieces and nephews, his sisters-in-law Freda Murphy and Audrey Merrill, Linda and Jean Fullerton and brother-in-law Terry (Betty) Fullerton. Allison worked for Frizzell Bros. Construction for nearly 30 years and upon retirement began to enjoy more time gardening, tending to Pat’s apple trees and helping in the kitchen during pie baking season, which was all year round. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and they loved learning from his wisdom and gentle demeanor. The family would like to thank Dr. J. Stewart and the staff from Ward 4600 of the Moncton Hospital. Visitation will be held at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home on Thursday, January 10,2013 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm & 7:00pm until 9:00pm. The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Bros. Memorial Chapel, 171 Lutz Street on Friday, January 11, 2013 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Chet MacPhail officiating. Donations in Allison's memory may be made to the Cherryfeild Baptist Church Building Fund or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
