Obituary of Dennis C. Goodwin

Dennis C. Goodwin, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital, on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at the age of 92 year's. Dennis retired from the NB Liquor Corporation with 23 years service. He attends St. John the Baptist Anglican Church. A veteran of WW. II he served overseas with Royal Canadian Navy from 1942 - 1945. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. # 6 Moncton, The Riverview Veterans and Armed Forces Association, the Canadian Navy Association, the air Force Vets Club and the Combines Operation Association. He is survived by his wife Wanda MacPherson-Goodwin; daughter Nancy Roberts (Myles) of Riverview; step-children Linda Bourdage (Danny), Orva Smith (Late Terry), Sally MacPherson, James MacPherson (the late Florence), Lorne (Karen), Harvey (Diane) and David (Sheri); several grandchildren, great grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by wives Nelda (Smith) and Roberta (Comeau), sister Margaret Firth; brother Jack Goodwin; and by a son Douglas Goodwin and his wife Betty. Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home on Wednesday November 8, 2017 From 2:00pm to 4:00pm & 6:00pm to 8:00pm. There will be a Veteran's service on Wednesday at 3:50pm at the funeral home. The Funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 11:00am with The Venerable Rev. Brent Ham officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Donations in Dennis' memory made to the St. John the Baptist Anglican Church building fund would be appreciated by the family.
