Obituary of Edward Vincent Farrell

Edward Vincent Farrell, of Riverview, passed away at his residence, on Friday, June 15, 2018 at the age of 78 years. He was the first son of the late Vincent and Janet Shepard. Edward had a distinguished 34 year career with the Royal Canadian Engineers Serving in Canada, Germany and Middle East. He is survived by his wife Florence (Cormier), sister Anne MacDonald of Moncton, sister in law Mae Farrell of Trenton, NS also by many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his first wife Elizabeth "Betty" Pollard, sisters Catherine Farrell, Margaret Wood, Mary Pentz, Nora Marshall, Lucy Cameron, and brother John Farrell. Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home on Monday, June 18, 2018 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers and Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 11:00 am with Father Allison Carroll officiating. Interment will be in Christ the King Cemetery, Trenton, NS. In Lieu of flowers, donations made to the Doctors without Borders Foundation (doctorswithoutborders.ca) or to The Shriners would be appreciated by the family.
