Obituary of Patricia Ann Windsor

Patricia Ann Windsor, of Riverview, NB, passed away on August 7, 2018. Born in St. John’s, Newfoundland on March 26, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Gerry and Gertrude Woodford. Whether Pat, Patty, or Patsy, she will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her devoted husband of 53 years, David Windsor; her daughters, Karen, and Leslie (Peter MacLean); grandchildren Nigel and Sinclair MacLean; her sisters Gerri Woodford (Alan), Barbara Bursey (Don), and Frankie Hanley (Phil); as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her dear sister, Elizabeth and sister-in-law, Roberta. Always loving and kind, supportive and encouraging, and occasionally perfectly silly, Pat was a great friend, a wonderful sister, an amazing Mom, and a beloved Grammie. While difficult, she faced her cancer diagnosis in 2017 with dignity and grace, ready with a hug and a smile all the way through. She will be remembered for her kindness, her love of family and friends, and her work in the community alongside her fellow Lioness, where she was a member for more than 30 years. She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched. The family would especially like to thank the dedicated staff of the Palliative Care Unit, at the Moncton City Hospital. Their endless kindness, compassion, and caring were deeply appreciated and will always be remembered. A visitation, with parish prayers and sharing of memories will be held on Friday, August 10th from 7:00pm – 9:00pm, at Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Road, Riverview, NB, E1B 1V6. A funeral service will take place at Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home Chapel, on Saturday, August 11, at 11:00am, with Father Phil Mulligan officiating. Interment will take place at a later date, in St. John’s, NL. Donations may be made to the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides, or a memorial of the donor’s choice.
