Obituary of Doreen "Dody" Florence Kelly

Doreen "Dody" Kelly, 93, of Moncton and formerly of The Glades, NB; passed peacefully away at Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital, on Sunday, November 18, 2018. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Sara (Doige) Baisley. Dody was a Professional Hairdresser, she retired after many years of service in the Moncton area. A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, wife, sister and friend, she will be sadly missed by her daughter Colleen Horsman (Glenn) of The Glades; her son Gary Kelly (Gail) of Glenvale, NB; her loving grandchildren Jason Kelly (Tammy Melvin); Jody Kelly (Tanya), Troy Horsman (Joline) and Brad Horsman (Virginia); nine great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchildren, her special nephew Robert and his wife Isabel Baisley; as well several nieces and nephews. Dody was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Clinton T. Kelly, her daughter Nancy Kelly; her siblings Henry Baisley, Norma Keirstead, Kathleen Garland, Erma Hutchinson and Evelyn Baisley . Honoring Doreen's wishes cremation has taken place A Private Family Memorial service will be held at Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview with Majors Randy & Lisa Randell officiating. The family will be receiving relatives and friends for a Celebration of Dody's Life at the funeral home on Thursday, November 22, 2018 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens Donations in Dody's memory made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
