Obituary of Cecile Marie Gallant

Cecile Marie Gallant of Moncton,NB passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday May 15, 2006 at the age of 99 years. She was born in Saint Simeon, Quebec on April 5, 1907. She was a member of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Moncton, NB. Survived by daughters Jacqueline Ringuette of North Bay ON, Betty (Adrien) Allard of Campbelton, NB, Ruby Botacin of St. Catherines ON, Rose-Marie (Bill) Olyneck of Blairmore AB, Lorraine MacNeill of Peterborough ON, Doreen Dermentzis of Toronto ON, and Anne Munn of Riverview, NB; sons Don Murray of Port Hope ON, George (Grace) Gallant of Vancouver BC, Chester (Sally) Gallant of Thunder Bay ON, Lou Gallant of Alberta, Maurice Gallant of Richmond BC, and Richard (Sharon) Gallant of Campbelton NB; sisters Melvina Parker of Amherstburg ON, Elizabeth Caissie of Nouvelle Que, and Juliette LeBlanc of Windsor ON; also by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband James H. Gallant in 1976; daughter Lucille in 1972; son David R. in 2001; sisters Regina Bujold, and Adelina Thedore; also by brother Renee LeBlanc. Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, 171 Lutz St. on Wednesday May 17, 2006 from 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00 - 9:00pm. There will be parish prayers on Wednesday evening at 8:30pm at the funeral home. The funeral mass will be held at The Holy Family Roman Catholic Church on Thursday May 18, 2006 at 2:00 pm with father Jeff Doucette officiating. Interment will be in St. Thomas Roman Catholic Cemetery, Campbelton, NB. In Cecile's memory, donations made to The NB Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by her family.
