Obituary of Arnold R. Tower

Arnold Tower, 74, of Turtle Creek, NB; passed away with his loving family by his side at The Moncton Hospital, on Monday, April 29, 2013. Born In Turtle Creek, NB; he was the son of the late Clifford and Lottie (Leaman) Tower.He was employed with Firestone and retired with 20 + years service. Arnold was a lifetime member of the PC Provincial Association and a member and supporter of the Albert County Progressive Conservative Association. He was an avid outdoorsman, he fished and hunted moose and deer. Arnold also enjoyed playing bingo and last but defiantly not least talking politics, however he greatest love was his family and friends. A loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, pap, brother and a friend to all, he will be sadly missed by his wife Rosalie Tower; his daughter Marlene Fawcett (Bruce) of Cambridge Narrows; his sons Doug Tower (Cam) of Irishtown Road, Allan Tower (Darla) of Rosevale and Terry Tower (Della) of Riverview; his adoring grandchildren Jodi, Tommy, Samantha (Cory) and Tabatha; one sister Wanda Martin (the late Bob) of Moncton, four brothers Gurney (Linda) of Turtle Creek, Clifford (Linda) of Upper Coverdale, Bert (Sharon) of Manitoba and Brian (Barb) of Riverview; his former sister-in-law Donna Tower of Moncton; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and his many friends. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a son-in-law John Smith in 2007; sisters Shirley Bannister and Marjorie Geldart (the late Clayton) and by one brother Charlie Tower (the late Lillian) Resting at the Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview with visitation on Wednesday, May 1, 2013, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00pm The funeral service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Don MacDougall officiating. Interment will be in Wesleyan Union Cemetery, Upper Coverdale on Friday, May 3, 2013 at 11:00am Donations in Arnold 's memory made to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by his family. The family wish to thank the nurses and staff of 3400 wing at the Moncton Hospital for their compassion, love and tremendous care given to Arnold.
