Obituary of Curtis Allan Garland

Curtis Allan Garland, age 65 years, of Elgin, passed away at the Moncton City Hospital on December 11, 2008. Born July 10,1943 in Petitcodiac, he was the son of the late Joseph Garland and Christina Bannister. He is survived by his wife Carol (Jonah); stepchildren Krista Graves of Slave Lake, Alberta, Beverly Graves of Miramichi, Eric Graves (Brenda) of Fredericton; step grandchildren Seth, Cole, and Emma Graves, Alex and Ashley Scribner; mother in law Hazel Jonah of Moncton; sisters Elsie (Gordon) Steeves of Elgin, Wanda (Donnie) Steeves of Elgin, Anna (Don) Linkletter of Ferndale, Aleta (James) Sabean of Barnesville, Eileen of Colpitts Settlement; brothers Edward (Elaine) Garland of Pickering, Ont, Gerald (Mary) of Sussex, Ronald (Pauline) of Ferndale, Richard (Marilyn) of Havelock, Austin of Delta, B.C, James (Heather) of Petitcodiac, Robert (Kim) of Elgin, Ralph (Brenda) of Salisbury; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents Curtis was predeceased by his Brother David. By personal request there will be no visitation held at the funeral home. Everyone is welcome to join in a celebration of Curtis’ life on December 20, 2008, from 7:00 to 9:00pm at the Elgin Community Fire Hall with Pastor James Hammond officiating.
