Obituary of Alice M. Neal

Alice M. Neal (Steeves) widow of the late Fred Neal, passed away at the Moncton Hospital, on Sunday, August 25, 2013. She went home to be with her LORD and join other loved ones who have gone on before. Alice was born in Lutes Mountain, NB, on April 9, 1922. and was the daughter of Byron and Mabel Steeves. She has resided in many places as her late husband Capt. Fred Neal was in active military forces. They both enjoyed life, church, people, entertaining, camping, sports, travelling, etc. She loved people and "doing for others" was her MOTTO. In later years they made their home in Saint John, NB and were both employed with the Government. Alice was a nurse and worked in hospitals, nursing homes, etc. They were both active in the Wesleyan Church in Saint John. Since the passing of her husband, Fred, she moved and made her home in Moncton, where she became an active member of the First Church of the Nazarene. She will be sadly missed by her many friends. By request there will be no visitation held at the funeral home. The Funeral service will be held at Tuttle Bros. Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, August 28, 2013, at 11:00am with Rev. Dr. Gary Cowper officiating. Burial will take place in Birchill Cemetery, Berry Mills, beside her husband Fred Neal. At Alice's request, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
