Obituary of Carmon M. Wortman

Carmon M. Wortman, 84, formerly of Riverview, NB; passed away at Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home in Moncton, on Monday, December 23, 2013. Born in The Glades, NB., she was the daughter of the late Allie and Flossie (Garland) Collier. Carmon loved animals and enjoyed gardening, knitting and sewing. She will be sadly missed her daughter Lynn Wortman-Arsenault (Norman) of Moncton; as well as nieces and nephews. Carmon was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband of 63 years Vernon R. Wortman in 2012 and by her siblings Jack, Raymond, Brock, Allie, Winslow, Eldene, Alvilda and Hollis. Respecting Carmon's wishes a private service will be held at a later date. Interment will be in the family lot at Boundary Creek Cemetery in the spring. Donations in Carmon's memory made to the Diabetes Association, Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation "Oncology Dept." would be appreciated by her family.
