Obituary of Charles Allen O'Brien

Charles Allen O'Brien, 61 , of Riverview, NB passed away at The Moncton Hospital, on Friday, July 29, 2016. Born in Moncton, a son of Marion (Ralston) O'Brien and the late Robert. Charles was a graduate of Bob Jones University of South Carolina receiving his B.A. in Theology. Survived by two daughters Julia Chancey (Brian) of Lima Ohio, Leticia Jacobs (Brian) of Amherst Ohio; one sister Esther Kaye (Brent) Hartland, NB. one brother Kenneth (Louise) of Halifax, NS.; one grand-daughter Katey Jacobs.; former wife Mary Amador and brother in law Curtis McConnell. Besides his father Robert, he was predeceased by sisters Joyce McConnell and Lillian O'Brien. There will be no visiting hours held at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 187 McLaughlin Rd, Moncton, NB. on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 2:00pm with Pastor Payne officiating. A reception will follow. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Charles' memory made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation, The Muscular Dystrophy Foundation or to Emmanuel Baptist Church would be appreciated by the family.
