Obituary of Arthur E. G. Hacking
Art Hacking, 74 years, of Calhoun, NB passed away unexpectedly at his residence, on Sunday, September 21, 2014. Born in Montreal PQ he was the son of the late Arthur and Jeanne (Harrison) Hacking. Art retired from Fisheries and Oceans. Most recently he was enjoying working part time for Taylor Ford shuttling vehicles. Art was best known as the voice of the Hydroplane Regatta; He was a member of Toastmasters International. Art will be remembered by many for his love of the Montreal Canadians. He is survived by his wife of 22 years Carol MacDonald; sons Gord Hacking of Quebec, Kevin (Carole) Hacking of Calgary and Tim (Tanya) Hacking of Quebec; step daughters Lorie (Lorne) Steeves of Riverview, and Kelly (Jason) Cosman of Moncton; step sons Jamie Stacey of Alberta, David (Krista) Stacey of Riverview, Michael (Lindsey) Stacey of ON, and Randy (Lee) MacDonald of Edmonton, AB; Art was very proud of his grandchildren Jenn, Kristina (Chris), Mandi (Mike), Nick, Matthew, Aiden and Liam; he will be forever missed by his dogs Sasha and Mia. Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers and Riverview Funeral Home on Wednesday September 24, 2014 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm & 6:00 - 8:00pm. The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers and Riverview Funeral Home Chapel 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 11:00am with Rev. Aaron Billard officiating. Donations in Art's memory made to the Canadian Diabetic Association would be appreciated by the family.
