Obituary of Janet Barbara Matthews

Janet B. Matthews, 79 years, formerly of Shediac Rd, passed away at The Pro Tem Health Services Residence in Moncton, NB on Sunday, February 11, 2007. Born in Jacquet River, NB, She was the daughter of the late William J. & Margaret E. (Barclay) MacLean. She was employed as a Secretary & Steno worker with T. Eaton Co. A member of St. Georges Anglican Church and a member of the willing workers, Janet loved to knit and crochet. She was a loving mother, grammy and sister, and will be sadly missed by her sons; Daniel (Sheila) of Fredericton, David (Pamela) of Moncton and Bruce of Moncton. her loving grandchildren Lee and Linda of Fredericton, Jordan & Colin of Moncton. brothers Rev. Robert MacLean (Lois)of Falls River NS; Bill MacLean (Carolyn ) of Bedford, NS sisters Shirley Lingard (Bill), Margaret Rockingham (Christopher) all of Toronto; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Lyman E. Matthews in 2000; a sister Isabel Rud and by a brother Glenn. Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home 171 Lutz St. Moncton on Monday February 12, 2007 from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Tuttle Bros. Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at 11:00 am with Rev. Chris Vanbuskirk officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery at a later date. In Janet's memory, donations made to St. George's Church "Elevator Fund", The Canadian Mental Health Association or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by her family.
