Obituary of R. Albert Reddin

R. Albert Reddin, age 59 years of Riverview, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, July 5, 2007.Born in Charlottetown, PEI, on November 18th, 1947 he was the son of the late Frederick and Catherine (O'Hanley) Reddin. Albert was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church in Riverview and was a successful business owner of Reddin Transport Inc. for many years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, a former member of the Riverview Lions Club, and past president of the National Transportation Club. A loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and friend, he will be sadly missed by his wife of 27 years Patricia (Stuart); daughter Katharine Reddin of Ottawa (University of Ottawa); sons Jason Patrick (Michelle) of Riverview, James Daniel (Allison) of London, ON, Kirby Albert (Hilary) of Oakville, ON, and Christopher Stuart of Riverview; grandchildren Symon, Abigayle, and Liam; sister Sue Gordon (Art Moore) of Edmonton, AB; brothers Daniel (Cherry) of Moncton, Louis Reddin of Kamloops, BC, Dennis (Sophia) of Edson, AB; also by several nieces and nephews. Resting at The Riverview Funeral Home 214 Pine Glen Rd. on Sunday July 8,2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral mass will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church on Monday, July 9, 2007 at 11:00 am with Father Phil Mulligan officiating. There will be a reception following the mass. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. In memory of Albert donations made to Friends of the Moncton Hospital (Palliative Care Unit) or to The Canadian Cancer Society would be much appreciated by his family.
