Obituary of Margaret Isabel MacCallum
Margaret I. MacCallum, of Moncton, passed away at Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home following a lengthy illness on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at the age of 80 years. She was born in Moncton, NB on July 5, 1927 and was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Mitton) MacCallum. She was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. Margaret was a retired member of the Nursing Profession, she was a graduate of the University of Toronto Class of 1957. She was also a member of the New Brunswick Nurses Association.
She will be sadly missed by her brother Donald "Mac" and his wife Connie MacCallum of Moncton, her sister Gertrude MacEacheron (the late Royce MacEacheron) of Boundary Creek, two sisters-in-law Agnes MacCallum of Alberta and Tina MacCallum of British Columbia; by nephews and nieces Jimmy, Jackie and Ann; Ruth and Larry; Bruce, Brian and Blair; Scott and the late Peter MacCallum; she is also survived by several cousins.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by two brothers Danny and Gerald MacCallum.
There is no viewing at the Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview, NB on Monday, April 7, 2008 at 2:00pm with Rev. Dr. Philip Griffin-Allwood officiating.
The Family will be receiving relatives and friends at the funeral home immediately following the service.
Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery at later date.
Donations in Margaret's memory made to the Kenneth E. Spencer Home Memorial Fund would be appreciated by her family.
