Obituary of Elizabeth "Betty" A. Stewart

Elizabeth "Betty" A. Stewart,72, of Riverview, NB and formerly of Bedford, NS; passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at The Moncton Hospital. Born August 17, 1936 in Halifax, NS, she was the daughter of the late John Gosling and the late Myrtle (Reid). She worked for the Federal Government retiring in 1997 from DSS in Shediac, NB. She attended Bedford United Church. Betty enjoyed her time this past summer, camping through out the Maritimes with her new found "Camping Friends". Memories she will always cherish. Betty will be sadly missed by her daughter Heather Fitzgerald (Tom) of Riverview; step grand daughter Erica; she will also remembered by her former son-in-law Dean Navaux. Also surviving her are sisters June Carroll (Ken), Joyce McCann (Max), Shirley McIlmoyl (Wallace), Linda Vaughn (Harry) and Heather Lemoine (Rob); one brother John Gosling (Sandra); her sister-in-law Adele Tremblay; her mother-in-law Claire Stewart; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Donald Stewart (1997); son Alexander Stewart (1987); grandson Jeffrey Stewart Navaux (2002) and sister Mary Cunningham. The funeral service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home Memorial Chapel Pine Glen Rd. Riverview on Sunday, December 14, 2008 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
