Obituary of Dorothy Bernice Steeves

Dorothy Bernice Steeves, of Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, February 06, 2009, at the age of 93 years. Born in Amherst NS, she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Beatrice (Jolly) Lefurgy. She is survived by daughters Premelya (Ron) Main of Medicine Hat; Nancy (Ben) Mazzuccio of USA; son John (Jeannette) Steeves of Riverview; sister Phyllis Laurette of Amherst; 8 grand children Shane (Deloyce) of Red Deer; Susan (Rick) of Medicine Hat; Cheryl (Dave) of Calgary; Steve of Medicine Hat; Tom of Calgary; Gilbert (Crystal) of Moncton; Kevin of Riverview; Michael (Nadia) of Neguac, NB. 12 great grand children Tessa of Nanaimo, BC; Mandy (Ryan) of Medicine Hat; Cory of Red Deer; Collette (Brad) of Red Deer; Crystal of Red Deer; Larry of Kelowna, BC; Chantelle of Luseland Sask; Desiree, Madison, Mason all of Moncton; Curtis of New Liskeard, On; Audrey of Neguac, NB. 3 great great grand children Tye of Nanaimo, BC; Kalan and Anthony both of Red Deer; and SF. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Cleve Steeves in 1994, one son Tommy Lefurgy; and brothers Joe and Ted. There will be no visitation or funeral service at the request of the family. Interment will be held in The Amherst Cemetery at a later date. Donations made Dorothy's memory made to SPCA or to the local animal shelter would be appreciated by her family.
