Obituary of Mary B. Charlton

Mary Charlton, formerly of MacBeath Ave, Moncton, passed away with her loving family at her side at Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at the age of 86 years. Born in Halifax, NS; she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary Brown. Mary was a faithful and devoted member of the catholic faith. She was an avid Bridge player and she a member of the Bridge Club. Mary was a very charitable, thoughtful and giving person. A loving and caring mom, grandmother, sister and friend she will be sadly missed by her son Bruce Charlton (Angela) of Moncton, her daughter Heather Geddes of Moncton, son-in-law Brian Geddes of Moncton, her adoring grandchildren Christopher, Jody (Ken) and Sean, sisters Annie Cumming and Catherine Butler both of Halifax as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Cyril Charlton in 1992, three sisters Dorothy Tobin, Geraldine Vaughan and Noreen Beazley and by three brothers Arthur, Jack and Cyril Brown. Visitation is at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home, Lutz St. on Thursday, March 5, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church, Botsford St. on Friday, March 6, 2009 at 10:30 am with Fr. Allison Carroll officiating. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe, NB in the spring. Donations in Mary's memory made to Diabetic Association, Kidney Foundation, Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the charity of the donors choice would be appreciated. Special thanks to the nurses and staff of K.E. Spencer Memorial Home "Birchwood Wing" for their loving care given to our mother. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Bros.
