Obituary of Mary Beatrice Brown

Mary Beatrice Brown, passed away at The Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at the age of 91 years. Born in Saint John, NB on March 30, 1918 she was the daughter of the late George and Etta (Pooley) Ferris. She was a member of The First Baptist Church, a member of The Gullison, The Dr. Zella Clarke Group and a Dominion Life Member of W.M .S. Mary retired after working several years for the Unemployment Insurance Commission. She is survived by her niece Ann Ferris of Montreal and by her nephew Douglas Ferris of Vancouver. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Frank C. Brown in 2001, also by her brother John Ferris. Resting at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel with viewing and visitation on Friday February 26, 2010 from 1:00pm until time of service at 2:00pm with Rev. Jackson officiating. There will be a reception immediately following the service. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in the spring.Donations made to First United Baptist Church or to Crandall University (Atlantic Baptist University) would be appreciated.
