Obituary of Karey Blake Marshall

Karey Blake Marshall, 19 years, of Riverview, passed away as a result of a traffic accident in Elgin on Saturday, May 29, 2010. Born in Moncton, NB on July 5, 1990, he is the son of Blake Marshall and Francine Belliveau - Marshall. Karey was employed with Doncor Construction. A graduate of Riverview High School in 2009, he enjoyed playing Riverview Minor Hockey and Provincial Hockey as well as competing in Provincial Golf Tournaments. Karey also enjoyed all types of music from rap to country, his long talks with his sister Natasha, his memorable trip to Newfoundland and New York, hanging out with his friends, four wheeling and snow boarding. He enjoyed the water, from canoeing on the Restigouche, going to the beach or spending time at the camp with his dad. He will be sadly missed by his mother Francine Belliveau (Steve Collingwood) of Riverview; his father Blake Marshall (Kathy Nutter) of Riverview; maternal grandmother Dorilla Belliveau (Maurice Boudreau) of Moncton; paternal grandparents Harry and Judy Marshall of Salisbury; his sister Natasha Marshall of Riverview; Karey was a special uncle to Xavier Marshall Melanson and Landen Blake Marshall; he will also be missed by his extended family Kaitlyn and Nathan; Ashley and Jeff; uncles Mike (Diane) Belliveau of Dieppe, Martin (Valerie) Marshall of Fredericton and Allan (Tammy) Marshall of Salisbury; aunts Charlene (Jean Marc) Brideau of Dieppe and Janice (Albert) LeBlanc of Moncton; also by several cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Isidore Belliveau. The family will be receiving relatives and friends at the Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview on Wednesday, June 2. 2010 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Parish Prayers and sharing of memories will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday evening at 8:30pm. The funeral mass will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Riverview on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at 11:00 am with Fr. Phil Mulligan officiating.
