Obituary of Jean Isabel Smith

Jean Isabel Smith, age 83 years, of Moncton, passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, June 15th, 2010. Born in Mechanic Settlement, NB; she was the daughter of the late Edward and Martha (Chambers) McNair. Jean attended Wesley Memorial United Church and was a life member of the UCW. Survived by her loving daughters Sandra Walsh (George) of Charlottetown, PE, Carol Beal (Wayne) of Midgic, NB, Judy Smith (Ron) of Charlottetown, PE, Darlene Smith (Bill Parsley) of Moncton, NB; eleven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; sisters in law Marvis McNair of Moncton and Janet McNair of Sussex Corner. Predeceased by her husband Roland Smith and daughter Gloria Jean Ramsay, both in 1987. In keeping with Jean's wishes there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held from the Wesley Memorial United Church (168 Cameron Street, Moncton) on Friday, June 18th, 2010 at 11:00am. Interment will take place in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
