Obituary of Robert "Bob" Edgar Doucett

Robert "Bob" Edgar Doucett, age 60 years of Moncton, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, November 23rd, 2010. Born in Moncton, NB on June 23rd, 1950; he was the son of the late Edgar and Evelyn (Copp) Doucett. Bob was retired after many years working for The Canadian National Railway in Moncton. He was an avid Montreal Canadiens fan and played hockey with the Nifty Fifty's hockey team. He was also a member of the Moncton Tennis Club and enjoyed spending many Friday nights at the Salty Sea Dog singing Karaoke. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Paulette Doucett; daughter Michelle Cooke of Ottawa; son Michael Doucett (Nicole Lagace) of Fredericton; granddaughters Abby and Rebecca Cooke of Ottawa; sisters Rose Landry and Bernice Doucett both of Moncton; brother Marcel (Joyce) Doucett of Moncton; sister in law Sharon MacDonald of Woodstock; brother in law Jack (Jill) Young of Woodstock; several nieces and nephews. Bob will also be missed by his special feline friends Cotton, Missy and Sinbad. Visitation at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home on Friday, November 26th, 2010 from 7:00-9:00pm and Saturday, November 27th, 2010 from 9:00-10:00am. The memorial service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Saturday, November 27th, 2010 at 10:00am with Fr. Phil Mulligan officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. In Bob's memory, donations made to The Moncton S.P.C.A or to the memorial of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated by his family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Bros.
