Obituary of Matthew B.H. Savard

Matthew Savard, 30, of Riverview, NB; passed away at The Moncton Hospital, on Wednesday, April 6, 2011. Born in Moncton, NB;he is the son of Rob and Mary Savard of Riverview. Matthew touched many throughout his life. He will live forever in our memories for his fantastic sense of humour and his zest for life. Matthew was an incredible teacher, teaching patience, humour, devotion and compassion without saying a single word. We are so fortunate to have had him in our lives. Forever in the hearts of his mom and dad, sisters, niece, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and his numerous friends. He will be sadly missed by his loving parents Rob and Mary Savard; his adoring sisters Sandra (Shawn) Smith of Boundary Creek and Jennifer Savard of Riverview, cherished niece and nephews Katie Smith, Sawyer Smith and David Savard; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. Matthew was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Mae and Bernard Sheehan and his paternal grandparents Ernest and Mary Savard. The family will be receiving friends at the Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. on Friday, April 8, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm. The Funeral service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 11:00am with Fr. Phil Mulligan officiating. Parish prayers and sharing of memories will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday evening, April 8, 2011 at 8:30pm.
