Obituary of William Andrew "Bill" Price

Retired Sgt. William Andrew "Bill" Price CD, age 87, of Riverview, NB; passed away at Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, on Monday, May 9, 2011. Born in Montreal PQ; he was the son of the late William W. and Hazel M. Price. Bill served in the R.C.A.F. for 28 years before his retirement. He was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church, Riverview, NB. He enjoyed square and round dancing. An avid reader, he also enjoyed gardening and had a passion for woodworking. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Winnifred Price; two sons Bob Price (Brenda) of Pointe-du-Chene and Michael Price of Calgary; two grandchildren Lynsey Price of Calgary and Kris Price of Riverview; daughter-in-law Carol O' Hanley of Riverview; one sister Betty Berry of Moncton; as well as nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Bill was predeceased by a son William Allan Price and by two brothers Edward and Ronald Price. At Bill's request, there is no visitation at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at Bethel Presbyterian Church, 600 Coverdale Rd. Riverview on Friday, May 13, 2011 at 11:00am with Rev. Charles Cook officiating. A reception will be held immediately following the service at Bethel Presbyterian Church Hall, 600 Coverdale Rd. Riverview. Donations in Bill's memory made to the Bethel Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund, 600 Coverdale Rd. Riverview, NB E1B 3K6 (386-6254) would be appreciated.
