Obituary of Anita Mary Meekins

Anita Mary Meekins 1938-2017 Anita Mary Meekins passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Sunday, June 25, at the age of 78 years. She was the wife of Douglas Meekins. Born in October 20, 1938 she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Alice (Hebert) Cormier. Besides her husband she will be greatly missed by her children: Debra, Elaine, Don (Diane) and Vicky; her grandchildren Thomas, Jennifer, Patrick, Sarah, Hillary, Courtney and Mateo; her great grandchildren Caleb, Colby, Tyson, Kyle, Samuel, Aniya; her sister Alida; her brother Donald as well as several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sister Irene Gallant. Visitation will be held at on Tuesday June 27, 2017 from 7-9pm at Tuttle Brothers and Riverview Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 11am from Tuttle Brothers and Riverview Funeral Home Chapel. The family would like to thank the staff of the Moncton Hospital (4th floor) and the Extra Mural Nurses for the exceptional care provided. In Anita's memory, in lieu of flowers donations made to a living memorial to help the family in their time of need would be appreciated.
