Obituary of Ann Sharp

(Barbara) Ann Sharp March 19, 1940 - September 9, 2012 - Resident of Riverview, New Brunswick. After a seven year battle with cancer, Ann passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital with family at her side. Ann was born and raised in Moncton and graduated from Moncton High. As a Registered Nurse she completed a 30 year career and retired from the Moncton Hospital. She was one of five children born to the late Charles and Muriel Pooley. Ann will be remembered lovingly by her brothers Doug (Sandra), Brian (Adele) and sister Susan, her beloved children Robert (Michelle) and Wayne (Andrea) and treasured grandchildren Sam, Rachel, Calvin and Jacob. Ann loved the Lord, her family and friends. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brother Bill (Gail Murphy). Visitation will be held at Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview, NB on Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 7 to 9pm and on Friday, September 14, 2012 from 2 to 4pm. The funeral service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, 214 Pine Glen Rd. on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 1:30 with Pastor Jim Eagles officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Moncton, NB. The Family requests that donations in Barbara's memory be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
