Robina M. Harris, age 90 of Moncton passed away peacefully with her children by her side at the Forest Dale Nursing Home, Riverside-Albert on Sunday, November, 23, 2014. Born in Clydebank Scotland, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Robina (McKeachine) Smith.
Robina was a kind and gentle person. She enjoyed knitting, going to the movies and most of all spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Ed (Pauline) Harris of Moncton, Brenda (John) MacAulay of Moncton and Heather (John) McNeish of Riverview; grandchildren, Chris (MJ) Harris, Mike (Natalie) Harris, Stacey (Brian) Duff, John (Patricia) MacAulay, Kevin (Christina) McNeish, Carrie (Michael Patrick) McNeish; great grandchildren, Samuel, Anabelle, Jacob, Zachary, Brennan, Colin, Kian, Cait, Jack, Ava and Carter.
In addition to her parents Robina was predeceased by her husband Ralph Harris in 1995, and brothers, Edward and Douglas Smith.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Brothers and Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Road, Riverview (857-8564) from where visitation will take place on Wednesday from 7-9pm.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 28, 2014 at 11 AM from the funeral home, Rev. Mary MacPherson officiating. Interment will take place in Elmwood Cemetery in the spring.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Forest Dale Nursing Home for the kind and compassionate care given to Robina.
