Obituary of Robert Winston Prince

Robert W. Prince, age 65 , of Salem, NB, passed away peacefully at home with his family at his side on Thursday, June 11, 2015. Born in St. Huberts, PQ, he was the son of the late H. Winston and Dorothy M. (Allen) Prince. Robert was a retired Locomotive Engineer with CNR and VIA Rail. He enjoyed woodworking and working on his hobby farm, which included his daily animal chores, gardening and restoring John Deere and Cub Tractors. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 46 years, Nancy Prince; daughter Robin (Kris) of St. Stephen, NB; son Adam (Kim) of Riverview; five adoring grandchildren Ally, Drew, Sahara, Ruby and Theo; sisters Diane Baxter (Goodwin) of Winnipeg, MB and Margaret Gaudet of Moncton; brother Charles (Kris) of Lower Coverdale; mother-in-law Rita Atkinson of Hillsborough; sisters-in-law Brenda Price (George) of Hillsborough, Linda Beaumont (Mark) of Edgetts Landing and Tracy O'Hara (Kevin) of Lower Coverdale; brother-in-law Bruce Atkinson of Lower Coverdale; special cousins Jack & Blanche Prince of Petitcodiac; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his father-in-law Raymond Atkinson. A Celebration of Life will be held at Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. on Sunday, June 14, 2015 from the hours of 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Private family interment will be in Wilmot Memorial Cemetery, Lower Coverdale, NB. Donations in Robert's memory made to the ALS Society would be appreciated by his family.
