Obituary of Kenneth Albert Mitton

Kenneth Albert Mitton of Riverview passed away at The Moncton Hospital, on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at the age of 85. Ken retired from Glidden Paints and was active in many activities throughout his life. A sportsman at heart, he was a founding member of the Riverview Minor Hockey Assoc. and the Central Midget League as well as member of the NB Minor Hockey Council. A harness racing enthusiast, he was a horse owner in the past and followed the sport closely to this day. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed this sport into his senior years, especially playing a round with his sons. Ken was predeceased by his loving wife Jean Mitton, his parents and his three brothers He will be missed by his three sons Steven (Vivian), Andrew (Nancy) and Gene (Patti), as well as his three grandchildren Jeremy, Matthew and Mark. The Funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Steve Berube officiating. The family will be receiving friends and relatives immediately following the service in the reception room of the funeral home.
