Obituary of Marjorie Elizabeth "Betty" Sears

Age 80, Moncton, formerly of Halifax, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2017 at the Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home, Moncton. Born in Edgetts Landing, NB, she was a daughter of the late Rutledge and Marjorie (Gaw) Steeves. Betty is survived by sons, Leslie Jr.(Karen); Derek (Colleen); daughter, Carolyn; grandchildren, Michael, David, Sara, Sandy, Ashley, Carolyn, Shannon, Robyn, Josh, Evan and Emma; seven great grandchildren and a great grandchild on the way. She was predeceased by her husband of 40 years Leslie Sears Sr.; sons, Robert, Craig; brothers, Jim, John, Robert "Bob" and sister, Jean. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd. where a Service of Remembrance will be held on Monday December 11 at 11a.m. Reverend Russell Saulnier officiating.
