Obituary of Ruby E. Arsenault

Ruby Arsenault, 78, of Moncton, NB; passed away with her family at her side at The Moncton Hospital, on Monday, October 29, 2018. Born in Seabright, NS, she was the daughter of the late James and Pearl Johnson. She retired as head cook at Jordan Memorial Home a number of years ago. Nickname Rambling Ruby, she enjoyed family road trips to all places near and far, she loved playing bingo, however her greatest passion was cooking, baking and celebrating and entertaining holiday feasts and all family events from birthdays to anniversaries. A loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend she will be sadly missed by her loving children Kim Cunningham (Kevin) of Saint-Philippe, Whitney Stanton (Frank) of Hillsborough and Dwight Dykeman (Jennifer) of Moncton; by her much loved grandchildren Sara Cunningham, Tristan Stanton, Taylor Stanton, Jacob, Riley Noah and Abby Dykeman; sister Vera Fraser (Reginald) and brother Ebbie Johnson (Carol) as well as nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband’s Daryl Dykeman and Raymond Arsenault and by her siblings Arthur, Huntley, Irene and Muriel The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bernard's Parish Church, Botsford St. Moncton on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 9:30 am with Father Charles Broderick officiating. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery. Donations in Ruby 's memory made to the Friends of Moncton Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by her family.
