Obituary of John Robert Gallant

John Gallant, of Moncton, NB; passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at the age of 85. Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Fred and Viola Gallant. A veteran John enlisted in Canada in 1951 and was discharged 1956, he served in Korea and Japan and received the UN Medal, John just recently participated in the Remembrance Day Services at Victoria Park in Moncton on Monday November 11, 2019. John was a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 6 Moncton, NB He is survived by his wife Bernice Gallant; his sister; Faye Pratt of Halifax, NS; a niece Linda and three nephews Keith. Visitation and Services will be held at Faith Christian Fellowship, 70 King St. Moncton on Thursday, November 21, 2019 with Visitation at 10:00am; followed by a veteran service at 10:45am conducted by the Royal Canadian Legion Br.# 6 Moncton with closing remarks and prayers by Pastor Shawn Annis. Donations in John's memory made to Prostate Cancer would be appreciated. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery at a later date.
