Obituary of Robert Killen

Robert (Bob) Killen of Moncton, NB passed away peacefully at the Kenneth E. Spencer Home on Saturday, February 05, 2022 at the age of 87. Born in Moncton, NB he was the son of the late Everett D. and Doris A. (Powell) Killen. He was predeceased by his wife Claudette Leger in 2004. He is survived by his 3 children from his first marriage, Darlene (Mike Savage) of Dartmouth, NS, Joanne of Fredericton, NB and Jim of Dartmouth, NS, and 5 grandchildren. Robert had a long career in sales and management mainly in the automotive industry. He worked for a number of companies including Dominion Tire, K-Mart Auto Centre and Maritime Orthopedics. He was the Atlantic Sales representative for Dominion Auto Lite and later became an independent sales agent. He was a long time member of Commercial Travellers associations as well as a member of Corps of Commissionaires. Bob was a life member of the Air Force Club, Moncton and he enjoyed bartending at local clubs. He was active in scouting as a troop leader and Scout Master. Bob very much enjoyed hunting and fishing with friends and family and drew great satisfaction from gardening and camping. Arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Brothers Riverview Funeral Home and a graveside service will he held in the Spring.
