Obituary of Debbie Melanson

Debbie Melanson, 64, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital, on Thursday, December 22, 2022. She was born in Moncton and was the daughter of the late Roy and Marjorie O'Brien. Debbie as her health permitted attended the Moncton Wesleyan Church. She a had strong Christian faith and a strong and everlasting love for her family. She enjoyed listening to many genres of music. She most enjoyed attending Christian concerts with her family. Debbie's favorite time of the year was Christmas, she loved volunteering with the Christian Food Bank and helping with many other food drives. She will be sadly missed by her children, Tanya Leger, Katie Melanson, Melissa Hebert, Lisa Hebert and Joshua Hebert, twelve grandchildren; brother, Wayne O'Brien (Norma Jean) as well as nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by one sister, Lois Berry and brothers, Ronald and infant brother Billy. Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview on Wednesday evening December 28, 2022 from 6-8pm. The Funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 1:30pm.with Pastor Nathan Adams officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Moncton in the spring Donations in Debbie's memory made to the New Brunswick Lung Association or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by her family.
