Obituary of Bertha Naylor
Bertha Naylor, of Royal Court and formerly of Lindsay St. Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, June 2, 2008 at the age of 87 years. Born in Toronto, On. on May 5, 1921, she was the daughter of the late David and Bertha (Ford) Rycroft.
She was a member of Gunningsville Baptist Church and a life member of the Whitepine WMS. Bertha was an active volunteer with Pioneer Girls and was a Board Member of Camp Cherith Atlantic.
A loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother an aunt, she will be sadly missed by her children James "Jim" Naylor of Riverview, Ruth (Ken Bresnen) of Montreal and Elizabeth (John Czenze) of Halifax; her grandchildren Jeremy, Kristina, Julien and Ben; as well as her nephews.
Bertha was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Harold J. Naylor in 1999; her brothers David and Stan, and her sister Blanche.
Visitation is at the Riverview Funeral Home Pine Glen Rd. Riverview on Friday, June 6, 2008 from 1:30 to 3:30pm.
Following the visitation, everyone is invited to the Graveside and Committal Service at Alderwood Cemetery in Riverview at 4:00 pm. Friday June 6, 2008 with Rev. Blair Holden officiating.
Donations in Bertha's memory made to Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship or to Parkinson Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by her family.
