Obituary of Bernard J. Ryan

Bernard J. Ryan, formerly of People's Park Tower, passed away at Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home on Thursday, February 5, 2009 at the age of 81 years. Born in Hampton, NB, he was the son of the late William (Bill) and Maude (Graham) Ryan. He is survived by his wife Hilda (Fowler) Ryan, daughter Nancy (Willard) Randall of Burlington, Vermont; sons Si (Judy) Nahra of Michigan, USA; Frank (Patty) St. Lawrence of Calgary; brothers Murray Ryan of Ontario and Lawrence (Norma) Ryan of Public Landing, NB. four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Bernard was predeceased by his sister Mary and brother Francis. Vistation will be held at Highfield Street Baptist Church Saturday February 7,2009 from 7:00-9:00 pm and Sunday February 8, 2009 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:30-9:00 pm The funeral service will be held at Highfield Street Baptist Church on Monday, February 9, 2009 at 11:00 am with Rev. Jonathan Steeper officiating. Interment will be in Central United Baptist Cemetery, Norton NB at a later date. Donations in Bernard's memory made to the Highfield Street Baptist Church or to the donor's choice would be appreciated by his family. Bernard went to be with the Lord, with whom he walked.
