Obituary of Betty Scullion

Betty Scullion, formerly of The Kinsmen House, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at the age of 85 years. A member of St. Phillips Anglican Church, she enjoyed being part of the ACW and the social club. She was a long-time member of the YMCA. She enjoyed Quilting with friends at Peoples Park Tower. A loving war bride, mother, grandmother and great grand mother, she loved spending time with her family and her adoring grand and great grandchildren. Betty was looking forward to the arrival of another great grandchild in the new year. She is survived by her daughters, Pamela Arsenault (Raymond Caissie) of Lower Coverdale and Linda Burns of Moncton; four grandchildren, Susan, Jennifer, Lori and Paul "Jake"; three great grandchildren, Dallas, Zoe and Kylie. Betty was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband George Wallace Scullion in 1979, her son-in-law, Alvin Arsenault and by three sisters. Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home on Tuesday November 10th 2009 from 10:00 am until time of service, which will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel at 11:00 am with Rev. Father Kevin Borthwick officiating. Interment will be in St. Andrew's Anglican Cemetery, French Village, NB. In Betty's memory, donations made to The NB Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by her family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Bros.
