Obituary of Barbara Louise Clogg

Barbara Louise Clogg of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, March 14, 2010 at the age of 83 years. Born in Lakeville, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Eva (Elliott) Powell. She and her husband Douglas enjoyed many years of working within the family business, Cloggs Jewellers on Main Street in Moncton. Barbara was a member of St. John's United Church. She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life of gardening, bird watching, reading, researching geneology with her daughter, and above all she loved her family especially her two grandchildren. She will be missed by her husband of 44 years, Douglas S. Clogg; daughter Louise and her husband John Wilson of Lakeville; two adoring grandchildren Thomas and Rebecca who were #1 with Grammy, Sister Hazel (Bill) Jackson of Berkley CA USA; Sister in law Anne Powell of Halifax NS; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her first husband Arthur Embree in 1959; brother Lawrence Powell. There will be a graveside service held at Elmwood Cemetery in the spring where Barbara will rest in the Clogg family lot. In Barbara's memory, donations made to The Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
