Obituary of Blair Allen Tingley

Blair Allen Tingley, age 94 years, of Forest Dale Nursing Home in Riverside Albert and formerly of Lower Coverdale, passed away at his residence on Sunday, April 11, 2010. Born in Chester, NB on December 31, 1915 he was the son of the late John and Edith (Deeves) Tingley. Blair was a veteran of World War II. He retired from General Motors in Moncton in 1974. He will be sadly missed by his children Janet Tingley of Toronto, John Tingley (Denise) of Hopewell Cape, Elizabeth "Libby" Tingley of Toronto; and Bruce Tingley (Tanya) of Riverview; also by his loving grandchildren Blair, Jordy, Jade and Emily. Predeceased by his cherished wife Mimie (Matthews) Tingley; brother Cecil Tingley; sisters Mildred Teed and Hilda Williamson. There will be no visitaion at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, April 14th, 2010 at 2:00pm with Pastor Paul Steeves officiating. Interment in Wilmot Cemetery.
