Obituary of Barbara Cook

Barbara Cook, 76, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, June 4th, 2014. Born in Sackville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Bessie (Kaye) Steeves. Barbara lived a full life, loved to be outdoors fishing, hunting and camping. She will be remembered always as a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Barbara is survived by her daughter Paulette Cook of Moncton; her two granddaughters Ashley Cook and Nicole O’Brien, both of Moncton; her four great grandchildren Danika, Jonah, Alyssa and Alexy, as well as by her kitty Bowser. Besides her parents, Barbara was predeceased by her husband Murray Polly; her grandson Nathan Edgett; and her two sisters Alice Sears and Twila Steeves. By personal request there will be no visitation or funeral service held at the funeral home. Donations in Barbara’s memory made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Bros.
