Obituary of Harley Schindler

Harley Schindler, of Riverview, passed away at K. E. Spencer Memorial Home, onSunday, October 14, 2018 at the age of 94 years. Born in Chatham, ON he was the son of the late Joseph and Olive (Burk) Schindler. Harley retired after many years as Plant Manager of Domtar Corp. He is survived by his wife Phyllis (Dryden) of Riverview; sons Darryl (Paulette) of Scarborough, ON and Dwayne of Orleans, ON; grandchildren Karen and David; step children Wanda Shearer (Peter), Danny Steeves, Chris Steeves and Todd (Jennifer) Steeves. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his first wife Eileen (Rathwell). At his request there will be no services held. Interment will be in Chatham, ON. Donations in Harley's memory made to the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
