Obituary of Ian Alfred LaFleur

Ian LaFleur, 28, of Grand Digue, NB; passed away unexpectedly at The Moncton Hospital, on Monday, January 7, 2019. Born in Oshawa, Ont, he was the son of Alfred and Dorothy LaFleur of Ontario. Ian was employed as a delivery driver with Leon's Furniture Moncton. He will be remembered as a prankster and always teasing co-workers and his friends. Ian was a loyal Toronto Maple Leaf Fan and he loved to taunt his Montreal Canadians friends. A loving son, husband, son in law, Dad and Steppy, brother, uncle and friend to all that knew him, he will be sadly missed by his parents Alfred and Dorothy LaFleur of Oshawa; his common law wife Jessica Anderson; his children Lily-Anne LaFleur and Ethan "JT" LaFleur, step children Kelci Arsenault and Chucky True of Grande-Digue; his siblings Chantelle LaFleur and Doug LaFleur; nephew Zayne LaFleur all of Ontario; he was also survived by Jessica's parents Tina and Reg Murray and Kerry (Tammy) Anderson and her siblings Krystal (Luc) Poirier, Kyle (Brittany) Murray, Emilie Anderson, Ben Murray and her niece Mia Poirier; and by his god children Benji and Emma; as well as many friends and their children from Ontario and the Maritimes. Honoring Ian's wishes a Celebration of his life and gathering of family and friends will take place at Tuttle Brothers Riverview Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from the hours of 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Donations made to a Autism Resource Center or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
