Obituary of Elmer Edward Allain

Elmer Edward Allain, 66 years, of Riverview, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital, on Friday, January 11, 2019. Born in Moncton he was the son of the late Alban and Roseanna (Savoie) Allain. Elmer retired after 30 years working as a Handicapped Attendant at Fr. Angus MacDonald Center. He is survived by his wife Heather (Burden) Allain of Riverview; daughters Jocelyn (Jeremy) Daigle of Riverview, Sarah (Troy) MacNeill of Riverivew, and Katherine Pitcairn of Edmonton, AB.; brother Willy (Joan) Allain of Shediac; sister in law Paula Nicholson of PE; grandchildren Zander, Xavier, Jayden, Ashley and Tanisha. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother Bob Allain; brothers in law Ron Burden and David Nicholson. A funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers and Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday January 16, 2019 at 2:00pm with Rev. Carol Mullins officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, PE in the spring. Donations in Elmer's memory made to the CARMA Cat Rescue or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
