Obituary of Mary Jane Melody "Janie" Soucoup

SOUCOUP, Mary Jane Melody (Janie) June 1, 1949 - July 17, 2019 It is with very heavy hearts we announce the death of Janie Soucoup at the Moncton Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Moncton, Janie passed peacefully with her loving Mom at her side. She will be sadly missed by her mother, Elsie (Soucoup) McArdle, brothers James McArdle (Graciel) and Michael McArdle, niece Meaghan Deveaux (Mark), nephew Robert McArdle (Stephanie), favorite uncle Leonard Soucoup (all of Moncton), and her beloved aunt Bernice (Beanie) of Rusagonis and many cousins. Janie was predeceased by her dad, George McArdle, and her beloved grandparents, William and Margaret Soucoup. A lover of all (people and their pets) and Country music (especially Alan Jackson). Janie leaves behind countless wonderful friends and unparalleled memories of her love and laughter. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of 4600 unit and also the palliative care wing of The Moncton Hospital. A celebration of life will be held at Tuttle Brothers and Riverview Funeral home on Monday, July 22, 2019 between the hours of 6:00pm - 8:00pm with opening words and prayers said by Rev. Valerie Henderson at 5:45pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation or The Greater Moncton SPCA.
