Obituary of Patricia V. Sherwood

Patricia V. Sherwood of Moncton passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, September 27, 2019 at the age of 66. Born in Moncton she was a daughter of the late Austin and Thelma (Lutes) Budd. "I am ready to meet my maker. Whether my maker is prepared for the great ordeal of meeting me is another matter." Winston Churchill Pat’s strength and stubborn streak carried her through several years of her cancer journey although it never stopped her from laughing and enjoying what she was doing whether it was cooking, gardening, hanging out in the gazebo with her dog Sandy or having a good giggle with family. She did not lose her battle, she kicked cancer’s ass every day until the end! Survived by her husband and best friend of 49 years, Robert Sherwood; son, Robert Sherwood (Kim) of Elgin; daughter, Tammy Sherwood of Indian Mountain; three sisters: Freda Sprague (Ken), Wildia Smith (Joe) both of Moncton, Shirley Cripps (Stafford) of Riverview; four brothers: Percy Budd (Helen) of Missisauga, ON, Donnie Budd of London, ON, Ivan Budd (Sharon) of McKees Mills, Harold Budd of Moncton; two grandchildren, Justin Sherwood of Indian Mountain and Madalyn Sherwood (Cody Melvin) of Salisbury. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by one sister, Hattie Allen. In honor of Patricia there will not be any visitation or funeral service held.
