Obituary of Elizabeth Joan Garnier

E. Joan Garnier, of Salisbury, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2019 at The Moncton City Hospital. Joan was born in Moncton on August 6,1930. She was the daughter of the late Ellen (Kyle) and Gurney Lutes. Joan was a longtime employee of the Moncton City Hospital, retiring as the Executive Director of Housekeeping. She was very active in her community through square dancing, Merry Makers, Lioness and senior groups. Her Family are all the proud owners of her wonderful quilting work. Joan is survived by her children; Michael (Billie) Jardine, Margot (Leslie) Middleton, Douglas (Helen Gladstone) Jardine, and Darlene (Peter) Gillet; her husband Louis Garnier; her grandchildren Sydney (Chris) Seggie, Taylor (Jake) Dietrich, Alex Jardine, Warren Jardine, Collen Hoegh and Augusta Hoegh; great grandchildren: Kaia, Ray, Louis and Sonny Seggie; a sister Gweneth Hoar and a niece Heather Pemberton. There will be no visitation or funeral as per Joan's request.
